With Benefix, you have several options for uploading census information. You're able to either upload your census information or manually add members to your quote.

Upload Your Census Template:

If you'd like to upload your census, click the "Import Census" button. Next, select the cloud icon to choose the file from your computer, and then click either "Upload & Add" to add the census to your quote or "Upload & Replace" to replace the census within your quote. If you have more than one sheet within your file, you will be prompted to choose the sheet you would like to input.

*NOTE* If there is any missing required information, Benefix will highlight the respective field in red within your census.

To download a copy of a compatible Census Template, click the "Download Census Import Template" next to the Import Census button.

Manually Adding Your Census:

To manually add employees to your census, start by clicking the blue "+ Add Subscriber" button at the top of the page. You can then add details such as name, date of birth, sex, zip code, status, salary, adjust their coverage tiers, and more.

*NOTE* If you want to add multiple employees, you can click the "+ Add Employees" button at the bottom of your census.

To add a spouse and/or any dependents a subscriber may have, click the person with a plus icon next to the subscriber and select "Dependent" or "Spouse" buttons respectively.

Click the pencil icon next to the primary subscriber to add more information to your census members. Here you can add more information, such as an address, SSN, Contact Info, Job title, and more.

Manage Your Option Groups:

To select your group's current plan, you can click on the "Manage Current Plans" button at the top of the page. Here you can add, remove, or adjust the number of current plans within your quote.

On the left-hand side of the window, you will be able to name your option groups. These names will appear within each step of your quote moving forward, as well as within the final proposal you present to your group.

On the right-hand side of the window, you will be able to select the current plan for each option group. Search for keywords such as carrier, plan name, metal, and network type. Once you locate the current plan for that option group, click to add it to your quote. Once the current plan has been added to each option group, click the blue 'Save' button in the bottom right-hand corner to exit out of this window.

Quoting in New York

If you're quoting in New York, you can utilize our "Quick Add" feature to input the number of employees within a coverage tier and, if multi-option quoting, select the current plan, to add them to your quote.

*Note* If multi-option quoting, you'll want to add all option groups using the 'Manage Current Plans' tool before using the 'Quick Add' feature.

Once you've completed your census, click "Next" to move on to Step 3 of the Quoting Process.
